This highlight is sponsored by BMO. Liv Phillips is on a mission early The girls varsity is underway at 10 am and to no surprise, it was Naperville Central’s Liv Phillips and Naperville North’s Julie Piot who get ahead of the group early. Naper Settlement Field Watchers BMO Savings Builder Accounts After mile one, it is Phillips and Piot at an even pace side by side. Waubonsie Valley freshman Mia Bertolini is just ahead of Downers Grove South’s Holly Johnson, who has Neuqua Valley’s Addison Guskey trailing. The Tandon twins Shania and Rianna are six and seven as their teammate Emma Berres, and Naperville Central’s Lola Satre Morales followed. For Metea Valley their one and two in Maya Hall and Kamea Baker are teamed up in the top 10. Naperville North’s Bridget Kacedan and Bryann Pfeiffer battle with Neuqua Valley junior Sienna McEneaney to stay within the top 15. Katherine Heap from Waubonsie Valley and Keira Nelson and Zoe Kirkman from Metea Valley are also near the top 20 Phillips vs Piot showdown Approaching the second mile, Phillips and Piot continue stride for stride as the rest of the pack starts to separate themselves. Bertolini stays just ahead of Johnson, Rianna Tandon is running in the fifth spot and Guskey closes in on the sixth. Shania Tandon and Berres partner up for the Huskies at seven and eight. With the final stretch approaching, Phillips starts to break away from Piot as the two runners have a minute and twenty-six second lead over third place. Johnson pulls away from Bertolini for third who is trailed by three North runners, Rianna, Berres and Shania, all looking to close in. Satre-Morales and Mogg find each other teaming up as they make their turn. Naperville North captures another girls cross country regional Cruising her way into another first place finish, Phillips crossed the end line with a time of 17:17.90 to win the regional. Piot is in second with 17:31.60 and Johnson holds onto the third spot with a time of 18:43;40. Rianna Tandon claims fourth, followed by Bertolini in fourth. Berres with a time 18:56.30 finishes just ahead of Shania Tandon with a time of 18:59.60. Satre-Morales edges her teammate, Mogg by exactly one second, as three North runners in Anika Lovisa, Pfeiffer and Kaceden round out the top 10. Kamea Baker and teammate Julia Hannon finished 19:22.30 and 19:22.70. Waubonsie’s Lily Baibak gets 15th and Guskey for the Wildcats is just behind. West Aurora’s Itzel Figueroa is in 18th followed by Hall and Addison Richter for Oswego rounds out the top 20. Naperville North takes the team victory in first place and will advance along with the other top five schools next week at Katherine Legge Memorial Park to compete in sectionals. Naperville Central, Metea Valley, Downers Grove South, Waubonsie Valley and Oswego are all team qualifiers as well. Neuqua Valley has three individual sectional qualifiers with Sienna McEneaney and freshman Valentina Namvar joining Addison Guskey.
Regional Championships 2023
Halloween spirit is in full force at Katherine Legge Park for the girls cross country sectional. Naperville North, Sandburg and Downers Grove North all come in after winning their regionals but the rest of our teams involved are looking for a strong run with the state meet next weekend with seven team spots up for grabs. This highlight is sponsored by BMO. Liv Phillips vs Julie Piot The gun goes off let’s go racing girls. In the first mile it’s matchup that doesn’t surprise anyone it’s Huskie Julie Piot and Central’s Liv Phillips ahead of the pack. Rianna and Shania Tandon both trail behind the two along with Mia Bertoloni from Waubonsie Valley, Lola Satre-Morales from Naperville Central and Addison Gusky from Neuqua Valley. Piot and Phillips are the theme all race long but deep in the pack Metea Valley’s Julie Hannon and Kamea Baker both stick together to maintain a good spot. Ava Hendren from Naperville Central is also around to help the Redhawks while the Huskies have Bridget Kacedan and Brynn Pfeiffer in their team top five. Later in the race it’s Phillips who gets in front of Piot and the senior is not looking back as she keeps chugging along. Downers Grove North runs away with the plaque Coming to the finish Phillips is all alone and wins it by seven seconds ahead of Piot as the individual champion. Lily Eddington from Downers Grove North is in third followed by teammates Ava Gilley in 5th, and Alayna Todnem and Sarah Paul in 7th and 8th. Rianna and Shania Tandon both hit the top 15 while Waubonsie’s Bertolini comes in 13th. Satre-Morales, Gusky and Abby Mogg from Central all crack the top 20 while Metea’s Julie Hannon and her other teammates like Baker, Maya Hall, Zoe Kirkman and Isabella Sieben qualify for state as a team. However, Downers Grove pulls out the team victory with four runners in the top ten as the girls also winning the sectional ahead of Naperville North and Naperville Central. Lily Baibak from Waubonsie Valley also qualifies as an individual in 29th place. Sandburg, Hinsdale Central and Lyons Township secure the other team state qualifying spots.
Girls Cross Country Sectionals 10.21.2023
The girls cross country state meet takes place at Detweiler Park where Mt. Prospect wins the state title. This highlight is sponsored by BMO Harris Bank. We’ve made it to the girls cross country state meet at Detweiler Park. It’s a bit of everything at this event with rainy weather, muddy trails, and a dinosaur taking a lap. Many teams have battled all season long to make it all the way to the state championship in Peoria. We got some individuals looking to finish the season strong while Naperville North and Naperville Central look to add a state title to their trophy case. Race Start The race begins and we got a huge crowd of runners battling it out to get their teams off to a good start. North and Central stay grouped together while Glenbard North’s Grace Schager looks to set the pace while Benet Academy’s Louisa Diamond and Metea Valley’s Maya Hall and Zoe Kirkman battle to stay in the hunt. Mile One As we hit the one mile marker, Schager is in the lead. Next is the Mt. Prospect duo of Hailey Erickson and Veronica Znajda right behind Schager. Juliet Frum for Glenbard North and York’s Bria Bennis are also in the mix. Hersey’s Anna Harden, Hinsdale Central’s Catie McCabe, and York’s Katherine Klimek are in the top 10. Naperville North’s Julie Piot and Benet’s Louisa Diamond are battling with the rest of the runners in the middle of the pack alongside Central’s Kate Tueting. Mile Two On to the second mile and Schager maintains her lead in 1st place. Erickson and Znajda aren’t far behind followed by Frum and Bennis. McCabe is keeping it close. The next group of runners is Klimek, Huntley’s Breanna Burak, and Palatine’s Danielle Jensen. Piot remains in striking distance as she’s still in the top 25 alongside Diamond. They are just ahead of Hinsdale Central’s Sarah Fisher, Naperville Central’s Ava Hendren, and Naperville North’s Rianna Tandon. Final Stretch Schager is still in the lead as she separates herself from the pack. Can anyone catch her? The rest of the group is staying with it as Erickson, Frum, Bennis, and Znajda remain in the top 5. McCabe and Klimek stay in the top 10. Race Finish In the end, Grace Schager takes the top spot in the Girls Class 3A State Meet with a time of 16:40. In second is her teammate Juliet Frum and in third place is York’s Bria Bennis. In 4th place is Hersey’s Anna Harden and the Mt. Prospect duo of Hailey Erickson and Veronica Znajda in 5th and 6th place, respectively. Naperville North’s Julie Piot in 20th and Benet Academy’s Louisa Diamond in 22nd. Finishing in first overall is Mt. Prospect, Elmhurst York is in second, and Naperville North takes third place to add another plaque on a fantastic season for the Huskies. Minooka takes 4th, Downers Grove North takes 5th, and Naperville Central finishes in 6th.
Girls Cross Country 3A State Meet 11.05.22
A nearly picture-perfect day at Detweiller Park for the girls cross country IHSA state meet, where both 2A and 3A girls’ varsity runners look to fight for a top spot. This highlight is sponsored by BMO. The runners are off from Detweiller Park The Benet Academy Redwings are competing in the 2A region of the state final as their seven runners look to build off their second-place finish at sectionals. Payton Mathelier, Keira Jenke, Terese Tully, Faye Ferrell, and Ashley Donovan are the top five leading the Redwings. The gun sounds, and the runners are off as they take the obstacle of a three-mile course one final time for the 2023 cross-country season. Under the shadows of the trees, the runners make their way to the first checkpoint, as it’s Lincoln’s Becca Heitzig, St. Ignatius Annika Swan, Sandwich’s Sundra Weber, and Normal University’s Natalie Bierbaum in the top four. The second Normal runner, Zoe Carter, rounds out the top five. Glenwood’s Ali Londrigan is in sixth and Benet’s Keira Jenke is in eighth. The pack of four continues to lead the way as the girls approach mile two, and Heitzig, with Weber and Bierbaum, stay stride for stride. Zoe Carter has a noticeable gap between the top four and the sixth runner. The rest of the runners follow behind. Glenwood wins the 2A state meet A close one at the finish, but Heitzig signals that she’s got the first-place finish ahead of Swan by fifth-tenths of a second. Weber is in fourth, and Bierbaum and her teammate Carter round out the top five. Ton-That is in sixth, followed by Landrigan and McGreal. Lemont’s Niki Tselios is in ninth, and Waterloo’s Cameron Crump is in 10th. Benet’s freshman and first-place runner Payton Mathelier cracks the top 50 for the Redwings. Ultimately, Glenwood takes home the Class 2A State Championship with a score of 84 after three runners finish in the top 20. Grayslake Central in second place and St. Ingatius in third. Class 3A girls cross country IHSA state meet Following the conclusion of the 2A races was the start of the 3A races, which features Neuqua Valley, Metea Valley, Waubonsie Valley, Naperville North, and Naperville Central. A sunny 60-degree November day was unlike last season’s rain and cold, which gets the runners feeling better for the three-mile journey as they get going. Barrington’s Scout Storm leads the way, followed by Mt. Prospects Meg Peterson. Naperville North’s Julie Piot and Naperville Central’s Liv Phillips trail not too far back. After a herd of runners, It’s no surprise that Shania and Rhianna Tandon who round out the top 25. Peterson pulls away at the two-mile marker, with Storm and Phillips jostling for second. Piot follows behind, and Danielle Jenson from McHenry and Nicole Poglitsch from Wheaton Warrenville South are knocking on the door. With a turn of events just after the second mile, Phillips and Storm now battle for the first place as Peterson falls back, leaving Piot in the top three. Naperville Central’s Liz Phillips finishes in second Storm takes first, Phillips in second, and Piot in third. Anna Lester from Vernon Hills comes in fourth, followed by Jenson. Barrington’s Mia Sirois finishes in sixth, while Poglitsch gets seventh for Wheaton South. Mt. Prospect one and two in Peterson, and Lily Ginsberg end in eighth and ninth. Ten through fourteen are a combination of three Downers Grove North runners and two York runners, Katherine Klimek and Margaret Owens. Shania Tandon is in fifteenth, followed by Margaretha Grabske from Arlington Heights. Brea Counihan is in 18, Morgan Dick is in 19th, and Lindsey Gerhardstein rounds out the top 20. Rianna Tandon takes 23rd to earn All-State honors as well. It’s York at the end who takes home first place as a team in this year’s Class 3A race, after six runners finished inside the top 32. Downers Grove North finishes in second place with Barrington in third. Naperville North finishes the day in 5th and Naperville Central takes 6th place as a team.
Girls Cross Country IHSA 2A and 3A State Meets
The girls cross country sectional takes place at Waubonsie Valley where Elmhurst York takes the top spot. This highlight is sponsored by BMO Harris Bank. It’s the Girls 3A IHSA Cross Country Sectional at Waubonsie Valley High School. Metea Valley, Benet Academy, Naperville Central, and Naperville North had impressive performances in the regionals last week to make it here and want to build on that momentum. With a competitive field of eighteen teams here, only the top seven will qualify for state next week at Detweiler Park. Who will punch their ticket to Peoria? Race Start Here at the starting line and we have Naperville Central’s Liv Phillips setting the tone early as she gets out in front of the pack. She is followed by a dozen of other competitors looking to stay with her. Benet Academy’s Louisa Diamond down on the far right isn’t too far behind. Mile One On the first mile, it’s Elmhurst York’s Bria Bennis ahead of the pack. Her teammates Michaela Quinn and Katherine Klimek are close by along with Hinsdale Central’s Catie McCabe. The group of Huskies in Julie Piot, Shania Tandon, and Logan Brennan are just a little further back along with Diamond. Then we see Phillips who is followed by Benet Academy’s Delilah Helenhouse, Keira Jenke, and Harper Good. Redhawks Ava Hendren and Addison George are within striking distance. Mile Two In the second mile, Bennis maintains her lead over the pack. McCabe is right behind in second place. Next is York’s Michaela Quinn in the third spot, but Catherine Sommerfeld from Lyons and Diamond are keeping it close amongst the top runners. Piot is right there too and not far behind are her fellow teammates Brennan and Shania Tandon. Phillips is just outside the top ten runners and is battling with the middle of the pack. Final Stretch As we enter the final stretch, Bennis is well ahead of the pack as she looks on pace to break a sectional record. McCabe remains in second. Next Piot and Louisa Diamond in third and fourth, respectively. Quinn is in fifth place alongside Sandburg’s Lindsey Gerhardstein and Sommerfeld. Just a little further back are York’s Katherine Klimek, Shania Tandon, Brennan, and Hinsdale Central’s Sarah Fischer. Just outside the top ten runners are Naperville North’s Rianna Tandon, Phillips and York’s Maggie Quinn. Finish Line At the finish line now and it’s York’s Bria Bennis who emerges with a great finish to win the IHSA Sectional with a record time of 16:59 beating out the previous record by eight seconds. McCabe is in second place and Michaela Quinn is in third place. Sommerfeld sprints her way to a fourth place finish while Klimek finishes in fifth. Diamond takes sixth place and Piot ends her day in seventh place. Elmhurst York takes the top spot in sectionals while Naperville North is in second and Naperville Central in third. Lyons takes fourth, Downers Grove North takes fifth place, Hinsdale Central takes 6th place, and Benet Academy narrowly beats out Batavia to book that final spot for state next week.
Girls Cross Country Waubonsie Valley Sectional 10.29.22
By: Justin Cornwell, NCTV17 Published: October 27, 2022 at 3:30 PM CDT The girls cross country 3A IHSA regional final is here as Hinsdale Central plays host at Katherine Legge Park on a beautiful Saturday morning. 11 teams will be competing to get into the top six spots in the final standings today and qualify for the Waubonsie Valley sectional. The DVC Champion Naperville North Huskies are going for another regional title while the ESCC champion Benet Academy Redwings look to make a strong statement. Start of the Race At the start of the race, we have Naperville Central’s Liv Phillips gets out in front of the pack early as she often does. Her teammate Kate Tueting is close along with Naperville North’s Julie Piot and Benet Academy senior Louisa Diamond. First Mile of Race In the first mile, Liv Phillips remains ahead of the pack. Kate Tueting is not far behind. Naperville North’s Julie Piot, Shania Tandon, Rianna Tandon and Logan Brennan remain close to the leaders. Benet Academy’s Louisa Diamond is within striking distance. Hinsdale Central’s Sarah Fischer and Catie McCabe are within the top ten and remain in contention for the top spot. Gretchen Leland from Neuqua and Lily Baibak from Waubonsie also in the hunt for the top ten. Other Redhawk runners Addison George and Becca Liaw are helping their team’s case. Benet in contention for a team sectional spot with Deliliah Helenhouse, and freshmen Keira Jenke, and Harper Good running well in their first regional. Metea Valley also battling behind Zoe Kirkman, Maya Hall, Brooke Horning, Gianna Canek and Taylor Poces-Bell. Second Mile of Race As we approach mile 2, Benet Academy’s Louisa Diamond is now just ahead of Sarah Fischer from Hinsdale Central as they go up the hill. Naperville North’s Logan Brennan is in third followed by Liv Phillips who is in 4th place. Hinsdale Central’s Catie McCabe is in 5th and Naperville North’s Shania Tandon and Julie Piot remain close. Final Stretch As we approach the final lap of this race, Louisa Diamond maintains her narrow lead against Sarah Fischer. Can Diamond hang on for the victory? Race Finish Indeed she does and the Redwing wins the IHSA Regional meet with a time of 17:46 for Benet Academy. Sarah Fischer crosses the line in second place. Naperville North’s Logan Brennan ends the day in third and DVC champion Liv Phillips gets 4th place. Naperville North wins the Regional meet title thanks to five Huskies finishing in the top ten including Shania and Rianna Tandon, Julie Piot and Lexi Pera. Naperville Central is in second, Hinsdale Central is in 3rd, Batavia in 4th. Benet Academy and Metea Valley get the final two team spots to qualify for sectionals next weekend. Neuqua Valley sending Olivia Dalson, Elizabeth Hall and Gretchen Leland while Waubonsie sophomore Lily Baibak will run on her home course next week as well.

Naperville North, Naperville Central, Metea Valley, Neuqua Valley and DeKalb make up the six team conference meet. Start of the DVC Championship Race At the start of the race, Naperville Central junior Liv Phillips gets out to the front of the pack as she often does, followed by the dozens of other competitors as the starter’s pistol sounds. First Mile of the Race In the first mile, Naperville North runner Julie Piot gets out to the early lead just ahead of Phillips and teammate Shania Tandon. Rianna Tandon just a little further back with Ava Hendren from Central and Logan Brennan from North. Then we see Maya Hall from Metea Valley, Gretchan Leland from Neuqua Valley and Lily Baibak from Waubonsie Valley. They would all go on to finish in the top 12 Other runners like Lexi Pera and Anika Lovisa from North as well as Lola Satre Morales, Addison George and Abby Mogg from Central and Korima Gonzalez from DeKalb. Zoe Kirkman and Brooke Horning from Metea also near the top 20. Huskies and Redhawks Pull Ahead in the Second Mile Just past the midway point Piot is still in front. Shania Tandon is still right there with Liv Phillips and it’s all Huskies and Redhawks in the top five. Liv Phillips Makes a Late Push for the Win But in the final stretch, Liv Phillips emerges with a great finish to win the DVC girls cross country championship at 17:52. Piot crosses the line in second place. Another flip as Rianna Tandon passes up twin sister, Shania as they finish third and fourth respectively as Naperville North is able to win the team conference title once again. Naperville Central with a great showing as well to take second while Ava Hendren rounds out the top five. Metea Valley in third and Neuqua Valley in fourth.

Girls Cross Country Twilight Invite 10.05.22 By: Justin Cornwell, NCTV17 Published: October 07, 2022 at 8:35 PM CDT The girls cross country Twilight Invite takes place at Naperville North where the host Huskies take the team championship. This highlight is sponsored by BMO Harris Bank. A perfect night for running in the annual girls cross country Twilight Invite hosted by Naperville North. Some of the top teams and runners in the state are always in attendance, including Naperville Central and the host Huskies who both have high hopes for the state meet next month. Naperville Twilight Race Begins The sun has completely set by the time the gun goes off for the girls varsity race. 16 full teams competing with several other top individuals also in attendance. After the first half mile, Glenbard North senior Grace Schager has taken an early lead already. Scout Storm from Barrington in second place before the rest of the pack comes in. Caroline Schoen from Homewood Flossmoor in third before we see some local runners like Julie Piot, Shania Tandon, Rianna Tandon, and Anika Lovisa from Naperville North. Central runners Kate Tueting, Liv Phillips, Ava Hendren, Addison George, Lola Satre Morales and Abby Mogg also in the pack. Metea Valley sees Maya Hall, Brooke Horning and Zoe Kirkman. Neuqua Valley has Gretchen Leland and Elizabeth Hall while Waubonsie Valley sophomore Lily Baibak and junior Lindsey Matthews run by. Schager Pulling Away Early Nearing the midway point and Grace Schager is already running all by herself. Storm and Evelyn Hett from Jones Prep are the only two within striking distance with Julie Piot, Shania Tandon, Kate Tueting, Katherine Sommerfeld from Lyons and Nicole Poglitsch from Wheaton Warrenville South. A Record Setting Finish Grace Schager is on pace to set a new Twilight course record of 16:15, held by 2015 Naperville North state champion Judy Pendergast. In the final sprint down the football field, Schager does indeed break the record with a time of 16:10. What a performance for the Glenbard North senior. Scout Storm is able to hold off Hett to take second place. Naperville North gets two top five finishes as Piot and Shania Tandon take 4th and 5th respectively. Tueting in at 6th for the Redhawks ahead of Sommerfeld, Poglitsch and teammate Liv Phillips. Naperville North takes the team championship thanks to strong finishes from Logan Brennan and Rianna Tandon both going top 15. Naperville Central in second place as a team, Ava Hendren also adds a top-20 finish with Addison George and Lola Satre Morales cracking the top 30. The DVC meet is just over a week away as the season turns towards the home stetch!

Downers Grove North girls cross country runs away with the 2023 Twilight Invitational By: Justin Cornwell, NCTV17 Published: October 08, 2023 at 10:51 AM CDT The bleachers are packed and it’s a full house on this clear and crisp cool early Fall night for this year’s girls cross country Twilight Invitational, hosted by Naperville North. The Huskies finished in first place at last year’s invitational, and hope to keep the win streak going. This highlight is sponsored by BMO. With 24 schools participating this year, local Naperville Central Redhawk Liv Phillips shows an early lead. Central finished in 2nd place as a team at last year’s invite. Naperville North sophomore Shania Tandon follows closely behind. Liv Phillips and Julie Piot run near the front Later in the race, Latin School of Chicago junior Mia Kotler powers through towards the front, Huskie senior Julie Piot follows closely and Central’s Liv Phillips is not far back. Shania Tandon isn’t far behind, and Downers Grove North’s Lily Eddington attempts to play catch up. Rianna Tandon from North and Abby Mogg, Ava Hendren and Lola Satre-Morales from Central are near the top 25. Elizabeth Hall and Addison Guskey from Neuqua Valley and freshman Mia Bertolini from Waubonsie Valley are also in the hunt along with Maya Hall from Metea Valley. Around the bend into mile 2, Mia Kotler is still in the lead. Kotler continues to make a name for herself as she had placed first last month at the Hornet/Red Devil invite. North’s Julie Piot and once again Liv Phillips remain the top three thus far. Mia Kotler pulls away Finishing up mile two, Mia Kotler remains the top runner, Liv Phillips moves into attack position into second place with Julie Piot just behind. Into the final stretch of stadium lights, Mia Kotler is unstoppable! Redhawk Liv Phillips within a few seconds of Kotler’s fancy footwork. Downers Grove North with an impressive team performance Kotler takes the top spot with a time of 17:05, Central’s Liv Phillips crosses the line in 2nd place, 11 seconds behind Kotler. Downers Grove North’s Lily Eddington is in third, Julie Piot in fourth, Downers Grove North’s McKenzie Willard in 5th. Wheaton Warrenville South’s Nicole Poglitsch in sixth, and rounding out your top 7 is Shania Tandon. Downers North finishes first in the girls cross country Twilight Invite as a team. Naperville North in second this year as Emma Berres and Brynn Pfeiffer round out the Huskie top five. Naperville Central comes in third with a score of 123. The Trojans with an impressive seven runners in the top 20 including Sarah Paul, Alayna Todnem and Ava Gilley.
2023 Twilight Invitational Meet
NNHS Girls XC team win the 12th consecutive DVC Championship. The forecast called for rain in today’s Girls DVC cross-country Championship meet. Maintenance crews were out, but it wasn’t enough to keep out the mud. The rain also didn’t stop the excitement at Waubonsie Valley as girls from all six DVC teams were ready to compete. Naperville North girls cross country looks to repeat as champions from last season, but a strong Naperville Central team looks to dethrone them. This highlight is sponsored by BMO. The gun sounded at 10:50 as temperatures stood at a brisk 50 degrees. 74 girls are off and running, and to no surprise, Naperville North’s Liv Phillips approaches ahead of everyone else, along with Neuqua Valley’s Addison Guskey. Huskies in the front to start In the first mile, Phillips is ahead only to be trailed by three Naperville North runners Julie Piot, and the Tandon twins, Shania and Rianna. Mia Bertonlini is the first Warrior to make an appearance in the top five. Guskey follows, and then it’s Lola Satre Morales and her teammate Abby Mogg. Emma Berres is close by. Metea Valley’s Maya Hall is the first Mustang in the top 10, followed by Ava Hendren and Byrnn Pfeiffer. Neuqua’s Sienna McEneaney gains some distance between Chloe Piot, Kayla Marx, and Allie Opalka. Multiple other runners are close by in the top 20. Naperville North girls cross country prevails in the end Phillips’ lead grows larger on the second-mile mark over Julie Piot. The rest of the top 10 stay relatively the same. Mogg passes Satre Morales and Guskey to stay just outside the top five. In the middle of the pack, Lauren Quigg, DeKalb’s Sam Vander Bleek, Brianna Pelligrini, Katie Byers, Maggie Kalish, Josephine Olson, Fabiola Gipson, and Byrnn Vine all make out the top 50. DeKalb has back-to-back runners in Brenda Aquino and Iran Manriquez looking to finish strong. Phillips crosses the finish line with a time of 17:54 followed by Julie Piot at 18:21.20 who gets congratulated by Phillips. Shania Tandon is third with a time of 19:00.50. Waubonsie’s Bertonlini edges out Rianna Tandon by point tenth of a second and cracks the top five. Mogg and Satre Morales go back-to-back six and seven, just behind her are Pfeiffer, Gusky, Emma Berres, Anika Lovisa, and Ava Hendren. Kacedan and Marx from North take thirteen and fourteen. McEneaney has a lead at fifteen ahead of Metea’s one and two Kamea Baker and Maya Hall. Katherine Heap, Miller, and Opalka round out the top 20. Naperville North is victorious again as they repeat as DVC Champions taking the meet with a score of 28.
